You are invited to attend the 2024 Virtual Agricultural Seminar hosted by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division. This free, virtual event will be held March 28, 2024, from 9:30a.m. to 5:00p.m. CST to provide guidance on federal labor rules pertaining to the agriculture industry. Please see agenda below for additional information.

Presented in coordination with other federal agencies and stakeholders, the 2024 Virtual Agricultural Seminar will focus on labor topics affecting the agriculture industry, such as:

• H-2A visa program rules
• Filing the H-2A petition and USCIS’s role in the H-2A process
• US DOJ Immigration Employee Rights
• Fair Labor Standards Act requirements, and child labor rules
• Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act requirements
• OSHA field sanitation standards and worker’s safety
• How to register as a farm labor contractor

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage and participate fully. Simultaneous Spanish translation will be offered at this event.
