Today wafla filed comments with the U.S. Department of Labor regarding its proposal to narrow exemptions for salaried workers to remain exempt from overtime wages. Wafla expressed concerns about the DOL proposal, especially for our members in Oregon who follow the federal regulations on this issue. (Washington state has already adopted state-based rules with higher wage thresholds than the proposed federal regulations.) Our comments can be found here.
